Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
We offer three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the safest and the most reliable OSs out there and we offer all three of them instead of only 1 as we realize that you might want to install some software which has specific requirements regarding the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a huge support community behind it and there're different software applications you may install on the web server. Your OS choice will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be installed on the VPS if you want to use one and because of this we offer several Control Panels too. In the event you decide that you need to have another OS, our tech support can quickly wipe the existing one and install the one that you need. In addition, we offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're freely available so they won't increase the cost of your new server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each of them is backed up by a large community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from countless software packages that you can install on your server if the app that you would like to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and because we want to provide you with as much adaptability as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request if it turns out that you need alternative one. We can also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as part of the useful Managed Services upgrade.
